STUDENTS
“Remnant,” the Student Ministry at North Brook Baptist Church (NBBC) has the goal of preparing students for a life-long walk with King Jesus! The Student Ministry at NBBC is not just a place for teenage students to come to a class and hear a lecture on the Bible. Our students are involved as active members of the church. Many of the students volunteer as teacher’s assistants during our Sunday morning children’s church. Other students sing in the choir that helps lead worship during services and performs for special services at Christmas and Easter. The students are involved in local mission projects. Some of these projects are serving at the local homeless shelter (Hesed House), helping shut-ins with clean up inside and outside of their homes, and helping with maintenance projects around the church property. Everything is not all work and serve! Our students have fun events, like overnight lock-ins at the church, summer camps, Christian concerts, cook outs and other fun events.
The Remnant Student Ministry is for all 6th to 12th grade students. The student meetings are every Sunday at 9:45AM in the Student Center and Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM. Everyone who works with the students has passed a background check and feel led of the Lord to serve in this important ministry. Come and see what the Lord is doing here!
